Friday Favorites: Madeline’s Box

Happy Friday, friends!

This week I’m SO excited to share a review of Madeline’s Box leather braided pacifier clips.logo

Waaaaaay back (not really) when Rhett was about two months old, one of our friends told me she had bought some leather pacifier clips but only needed one and offered me the other. Funnily enough, I had just (that day) purchased Rhett a pacifier clip from Target that I wasn’t very excited about, but I decided I would try the one she was giving me anyway. That small, magical little gift turned out to be a Sea Breeze Blue clip from Madeline’s Box.

The rest, my friends, is history.

Not only are the leather braided pacifier clips from Madeline’s Box adorable, but they are insanely functional. Once I started using mine I could’t go anywhere without it. Once I actually forgot it at home and cried. I’m not even kidding.

These pacifier clips are great because, as we all know, babies love to spit pacifiers out of their mouths. Instead of picking up pacifier after pacifier off the floor, these great little clips catch them for you. When Rhett was little, his was constantly clipped to him when we were out and about. I worried much less about where his pacifier was and whether or not it was going to end up on the floor.

Now that Rhett is older and doesn’t take a pacifier anymore, I use his clip to attach a toy to the strap of his car seat. His new favorite thing has been to take any toy I give him and throw it overboard while I’m driving so I can’t safely reach back to give him anything else. Using one of Madeline Box’s clips has totally saved my sanity by keeping Rhett’s teether in his car seat with him, which keeps both of us happy.

What else can I tell you about these magical, life-saving, leather braided pacifier/teether clips? They’re made by a mama named Heather who, just like me, wanted a cute and stylish pacifier clip for her baby boy. When she could’t find one she liked, she decided to make her own. Her friends and family loved them so much she decided to open her own shop. Each clip is actually made from a specially treated microfiber suede that’s even better than leather and supposed to last forever. I rhymed! The metal clips are also made with a soft plastic insert to avoid making marks on, or ruining clothing.

The great thing I’ve realized about these clips is that they can be used for much more than pacifiers or teethers. Now that Rhett’s a little older I either keep his clip in the car, attached to his teether, or I bring it to restaurants with us, attach it to a toy, and clip it to one of his high chair straps. I’m telling you, it’s genius. As I mention at the end of this post, in exchange for this review I received two Madeline’s Box leather braided pacifier clips in addition to the one I previously owned. That being said, I am totally a Madeline’s Box clip groupie, because I actually had one of these before writing any of this. The bonus is that I now have multiple clips so I don’t have to worry about forgetting one in the car and running back to get it. I plan to keep one at home, one in the car, and one in Rhett’s diaper bag so I can feel prepared wherever we are. And who knows, maybe Rhett will have a little brother or sister someday that can use one too!

How cute is this little nugget wearing the Slate Grey clip?

Think these stylish clips are a great idea? Head on over to Madeline’s Box to check out Heather’s pacifier clips, adorable teethers, pacifiers, and more.
